Youth Ministry Volunteer

Lambrick Youth serves students from grades 6 to 12. If you are interested if walking alongside this ministry - whether directly with the youth or through prayer - please fill out this form and our Youth Pastor, Aaron will be in contact with you.

Lambrick Youth Mission Statement:
To be a community where everyone belongs, where students can encounter and follow Jesus, and can grow to share God’s love with the world.

Lambrick Youth Ministry Vision:
To know God and make Him known.

Qualifications for ALL youth ministry volunteers:
• A follower of Jesus who is growing spiritually
• Models Christ-likeness and has a servant’s heart
• A passion to love and lead students
• Committed, available, and reliable
• Agrees with Lambrick Park Church’s mission statement
• Agrees with Lambrick Youth’s vision and mission statement

Estimate Time Commitment: 1 ½ hrs/week plus preparation time
Role Overview: Teach students and cultivate a love for God’s Word
What a Win Looks Like: Students learning and applying God’s Wod to their lives
Additional Qualifications
• Prepared to teach students on assigned weeks
• Able and willing to teach the Bible in a fun and interactive way
• Has a passion for students to know, love, and apply God’s Word

Estimated Time Commitment: 4 hrs/week plus time with students outside regular youth programs
Role Overview: Walk with students in their faith – teaching, encouraging, and challenging them to pursue Jesus in all aspects of their life
What a Win Looks Like: Students grow deeper in relationship with God because of the trust and friendship you have built
Additional Qualifications:
• Care for students in their small group
• Listen well and guide students closer to Jesus
• Build supportive and positive relationships with parents
• Help cultivate a climate of friendship with and among youth
• Can live without a lot of affirmation from students
• Can start conversations with students
• Invest in students outside of small group time

Estimated Time Commitment: Varies
Role Overview: Regularly pray for our students, their parents, our volunteers, the youth pastor, and the youth ministry
What a Win Looks Like: The students, their parents, youth leaders know they are being prayed for on a consistent basis.
Additional Qualifications
• Believes in the power and importance of prayer
• Able and willing to pray for students, their parents, volunteers, and the youth ministry

Estimated Time Commitment: Varies
Role Overview: Help plan and coordinate events and special initiatives to encourage students to invite friends
What a Win Looks Like: A student who attends an event gets connected into the community and starts coming regularly
Additional Qualifications
• Organized, creative, resourceful, and fun
• Able to make the most of a limited budget
• Works well with a team
